Purchasing & Downloads
All products in the A Pinch of Kinder Shop are digital downloads. Depending on the resource, your purchase may include PDF files, editable PowerPoint files, Google Slides activities, Google Sheets files, ZIP folders, or links to files stored in Google Drive.
Please review the product description and the What’s Included section before purchasing to confirm the file types included with that specific resource. No physical product will be mailed to you.
The program you need will depend on the resource you purchase.
PDF files can be opened with a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Preview on a Mac. Editable PowerPoint files require the desktop version of Microsoft PowerPoint for full editing functionality. Google Slides and Google Sheets resources require a free Google account so you can make and save your own copy.
Please check the individual product description before purchasing. PowerPoint files may not display or function correctly when opened in Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint Online or another program.
You can access and re-download your purchases at any time from the My Account page by signing in with the email address used at checkout.
All resources are sent as digital download links (no physical material is shipped to you). Typically, digital download links are emailed to you immediately after purchase. Please check your Junk and Spam folders if you do not see an email from A Pinch of Kinder in your main inbox.
You can also access your downloads any time from your “My Account” page.
I recommend purchasing resources at least 24 hours prior to the time you intend to use them with students, in order to allow for possible email delays and to familiarize yourself with the content and ask questions if needed prior to use.
A Pinch of Kinder resources are licensed for use only by the educator who purchased the resource. The Ontario Kindergarten Math System may be used by the purchasing educator team as outlined in its licence.
Sharing digital downloads, storing on shared drives or duplication is strictly prohibited. Products may be edited only for your own classroom use and may not be shared, resold or posted publicly online.
Yes! You can shop my resources in Canadian dollars through the A Pinch of Kinder Shop. To purchase in U.S. dollars, please visit my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
Unfortunately, I am unable to apply promo codes or issue discounts after an order has been completed. Please make sure to enter your promo code during checkout before finalizing your purchase.
If you’re experiencing any issues applying a promo code, please contact me prior to purchasing so I can assist you.
Refund Policy
I stand behind my resources, and your satisfaction is important to me.
If you change your mind about your purchase, you may request a refund within 72 hours of purchase, provided the product has not been downloaded.
Please note that this refund policy applies only to eligible purchases made directly through the A Pinch of Kinder Shop. For resources purchased through Teachers Pay Teachers, please contact TPT Support directly.
To request a refund, please email [email protected] and include your order number.
Please contact me as soon as possible and include both order numbers. If I can confirm that the same resource was purchased twice by the same customer, I will refund the duplicate purchase.
This applies only to two purchases of the exact same resource. Purchasing an individual resource and later purchasing a bundle that includes it is addressed separately below.
If you purchased an individual resource and would like to upgrade to a bundle that includes that resource within 365 days of your original purchase, you may purchase the bundle and then email me both order numbers. Once I confirm that your purchase qualifies, I will refund the cost of the individual resource.
If you are unsure whether your purchase qualifies, please email me before purchasing the bundle.
Bundles & Updates
Please review the list of included resources carefully before purchasing a bundle. Bundle prices are already discounted, and the price will not automatically adjust based on resources you already own.
If you purchased an individual resource within the past 365 days and would like to upgrade to a bundle that includes it, you may qualify for a refund of the individual resource. After purchasing the bundle, email me both order numbers so I can confirm eligibility.
If you are unsure whether your purchase qualifies, please contact me before purchasing the bundle.
Not necessarily. Each bundle includes the resources listed in the product description at the time of purchase.
Some bundles may be updated with additional resources in the future, but new products are not automatically added unless this is specifically stated in the product description. If a new resource is added to a bundle you already own, you will be able to download the updated bundle from your account at no additional cost.
I do not guarantee that resources will be updated whenever the curriculum changes. However, I do my best to keep my resources current and useful, and I’m happy to provide updates at no additional cost whenever possible.
As A Pinch of Kinder is a one-person business, the timing and availability of updates will depend on the scope of the curriculum changes and the time required to revise each resource.
Important updates will be noted in the product description or update notes. I may also share major updates through email or social media.
To access the newest version, sign in to the account you used to make your purchase and download the resource again from your order history or downloads page.
I recommend subscribing to my email list here so you do not miss announcements about major resource updates.
When a resource is updated to reflect the current Ontario Kindergarten curriculum, the newest version will generally replace the older version in my shop.
In some cases, older files may remain included for reference or convenience, but this is not guaranteed. I recommend saving a backup copy of any previous version you would like to keep.
The product description will indicate when older versions are included.
Many of my Ontario Kindergarten resources have been reviewed and updated to align with the 2026 Ontario Kindergarten curriculum.
Because my shop also includes older, seasonal, editable and general classroom resources, curriculum alignment varies by product. Please check the individual product description for specific alignment information before purchasing.
Resources marked as 2026 Ontario Kindergarten curriculum aligned have been reviewed against the updated expectations.
Technical Support
First, make sure you are opening the PDF in the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on a PC or Preview on a Mac, rather than printing directly from your internet browser.
In your printer settings, try selecting:
- Print as Image
- Shrink Oversized Pages
- Scale to Fit or Fit to Page
You may also want to confirm that the correct paper size is selected and that your printer is set to portrait or landscape orientation as needed.
If you are still experiencing issues, please contact me at [email protected] and include the resource name, your device, printer model and a screenshot of your print settings.
Editable resources are designed to be opened in the program listed in the product description. For best results, PowerPoint files should be opened using the desktop version of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Fonts, spacing and formatting may change when a file is opened in Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint Online or another program. Some editable resources may also require you to install the listed fonts before opening the file.
Please check the included instructions for font information. If the correct fonts are installed but the formatting still appears different, close the file completely and reopen it.
PDF files are intended for viewing and printing and are not usually editable.
If editable files are included with your purchase, they will be provided separately, often as a PowerPoint file, Google Slides link or another clearly labelled file. Please check the product description and your downloaded folder to confirm what editable options are included.
Not all resources are editable. Any editable elements will be clearly identified in the product listing.
Open the Google Slides link included with your purchase and follow the prompt to select Make a copy. The resource will then be saved to your own Google Drive.
You must be signed in to a Google account to create and save your copy.
If the copy prompt does not appear, open the file in a browser and select:
File → Make a copy → Entire presentation
Please do not request editing access to the original file. You will need to make your own copy before editing or assigning the resource.
Many resources can be viewed or used on an iPad, Chromebook or interactive whiteboard, but compatibility depends on the file type and the apps installed on your device.
- PDFs can generally be viewed on most devices using a PDF reader.
- Google Slides resources can be used through a browser or the Google Slides app.
- PowerPoint files may open on tablets or online versions of PowerPoint, but some fonts, animations, links or formatting may not work as intended.
- Digital resources can often be projected or displayed on a SMART Board for whole-group instruction.
For full editing functionality, I recommend using a computer with the desktop version of the program listed in the product description.
To help me resolve your issue as quickly as possible, please include:
- Your order number
- The name of the resource and/or the direct link
- Where you purchased it
- The device you are using
- The program or app you are opening it with
- A brief description of what is happening
- A screenshot or screen recording of the issue, when possible
- Any troubleshooting steps you have already tried
Please email this information to [email protected].
I will respond as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours for a reply. A Pinch of Kinder is a one-person business, and I am also a mom of two young children. My typical business hours are Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. ET.
General Website FAQ
You should not need permission to access any of the freebies available on this blog.
Make sure you click the download image or link in the blog post that takes you to Google Drive. Once the file opens, click the Download icon in the top-right corner. It looks like an arrow pointing down into a tray.
Please do not click Request access, as the original file is not intended to be shared with editing permissions.
If the download icon is not visible, try opening the link in a different browser or on a computer instead of a phone or tablet.
