Mat Options:

The full-colour mats show students which pattern block shapes and colours to use when building each letter.

The black-and-white pattern block mats allow students to select their own colours while still showing the individual shapes needed.

The simple outline mats provide an additional challenge by showing only the letter shape. Students determine which pattern blocks they can use to fill the outline.

For easy differentiation, try laminating a full-colour mat and a simple outline mat back to back. Students can flip between the two levels as needed.
