Turn alphabet practice into hands-on play with this Alphabet Parking Lot Centre!

Students drive labelled toy cars to the corresponding parking spaces to practise uppercase and lowercase letter recognition, letter matching, beginning sounds and colours.

Choose from several mat styles, three beginning-sound picture sets and both ink-heavy and ink-friendly designs. Printable cars are also included, so you can use this activity even if you don’t have enough toy cars.

How to play:

Label toy cars with uppercase or lowercase letters using stickers, removable chalk marker, paint pen or permanent marker. Students select a car, identify its letter and drive it to the matching parking space.

For beginning-sound practice, students match each letter car to a picture that begins with that sound.
