Do your Kindergarten students need extra practice with number identification, number formation, counting, 1:1 correspondence, and representing numbers to 10?

These Number Intervention Mini Books for Numbers 1-10 are designed to give students targeted, hands-on number sense practice during small groups, intervention time, or math centres.

I use these mini books with my number intervention small groups after completing a beginning-of-the-year number sense assessment. Once I know which numbers and skills my students need to practise, I print the matching booklets and use them for focused, low-prep small group instruction.

This resource includes mini books for numbers 1-10, with repeated activity formats so students can build confidence while practising important early number sense skills.

  • Find & Circle / Find & Highlight: Students identify the focus number among other numbers. Both versions are included so you can choose the ink-friendly option or the highlighter option.
