Phonics Word Charts | Decodable Kindergarten Writing Center

Give beginning readers access to words they can actually decode! These phonics word charts feature illustrated words organized by phonics skill, helping students apply their learning while reading, drawing, labelling and writing.

Introduce each chart after teaching the corresponding phonics concept, then place it in your writing centre as an accessible reference. Students can independently find words containing patterns they have already learned instead of relying on vocabulary they are not yet ready to decode.

These original phonics word charts were created to align with UFLI’s scope and sequence for Lessons 35a–61. All content is entirely original. This resource was not created by or endorsed by UFLI.
